Minimum temp 13 degrees, high of 20 degrees and foggy up Mini Mini and sunny for most of the day.
Well considering not much training due to moving office and a 2 week holiday I didn't expect much. Didn't think it would take this long but should have known.
Place was 701 out of 854 runners which will means I need to send in a marathon qualifier to get the same wave start for next year(wave 3) otherwise they may put me at the back. And no beer bet.
Splits:
1:32:15 To Cox's River.
3:21:09(1:48:53-10.5k) To Pluvio.
6:11:18(2:50:09-19k) At the finish.
So it got very ugly once past Cox's River as expected.
Position wise:
357th at Cox's.
572nd at Pluvio.
701st at the Finish.
I might be better next year. Anyway 3 finishes gives me a guaranteed start which makes the entry easier.
Good wins by David Byrne and Hanny Allston.
